The University of Kentucky is an equal opportunity university.

Welcome New Students

Congratulations from the Office of International Affairs. We look forward to meeting you and helping you during your early weeks here. The links on the left will provide the information you need to get started.

We cordially invite you to attend Welcome and Orientation Week in August to receive basic information about UK and the community, to meet new friends, and to learn your way around. We have planned many activities during this week and beyond for your guidance and your pleasure. Make Bradley Hall your first stop at the university.

Throughout your stay here, the Office of International Affairs (OIA) will be a source of information, support and friendship. We provide immigration services and many intercultural opportunities. We are proud of the 1500 international students, who come from over 100 countries to study at the University of Kentucky. We sponsor many programs during the year to promote friendship and to increase cross-cultural learning. We will inform you about these opportunities through our listserv and our website. Please join in and participate.
