Health Insurance and Immunization Requirements
Health insurance and immunizations are mandatory at the University of Kentucky. International students are automatically enrolled in the Aetna Student Health Insurance Plan. Those who already have coverage meeting UK's requirements may be eligible for a waiver.
Scholars, dependents and ESL students must show proof of insurance meeting the UK requirements or purchase a plan with equivalent coverage, such as the Aetna plan. More information is available under Student/Scholar Health Insurance.
