Campus Housing: International students are encouraged to live in campus housing for their first year at the university. To live in campus housing, students must complete a housing application. All students are encouraged to apply early.

Off-Campus Housing: International students who want to live off campus usually wait until arriving in Lexington to secure an apartment. However, some international students make arrangements for off campus housing by contacting international students from their home country.
Temporary Housing: The university has a limited amount of temporary housing in one of the residence halls August 1-12. Temporary housing is open 24 hours a day but should be reserved ahead of time. Students will be able to pay for the temporary housing upon arrival. The cost is $16 per night. Request temporary housing by completing the Airport Pick-Up/Temporary Housing Request Form.
Students arriving in January who need temporary housing will need to secure a hotel or request a host family on the Airport Pick-Up/Temporary Housing Request Form.
