The University of Kentucky Office of International Affairs
Adult ESL classes that allow students to practice conversation and pronunciation.  Participants will learn  vocabulary, phrases, and American slang. Join a class at anytime. These classes are available to the University of Kentucky community. Classes are Free.

The Semi-Intensive English Program at the Center for English as a Second Language (CESL)
Sponsored by UK's English Department, this is an ESL-for-Academic-Purposes program and accepts individuals age 16 and older. There are also several ESL–Specialty Classes, including ―English Pronunciation for Non-Native Speakers,‖ ―Professional Writing for Non-Native Speakers‖ and ―TOEFL Preparation.‖ Dates, hours and fees vary.

The International Conversation Hour (ICH)
An on-campus resource for those who want to practice everyday, conversational English and meet international and U.S. students. Classes are FREE.

The Community Education Program
Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) offer a highly-regarded program with multiple ESL classes in the Fall and Spring at Lafayette High School.

Offered September-May at 4300 Nicholasville Road. Students are able to join class whenever they can. Classes are divided into four levels. Childcare and transportation are provided. Classes are FREE.
