Basic and applied research in reservoir characterization and modeling, with emphasis on carbon sequestration, enhanced oil recovery, and gas storage. Diagenesis, low temperature geochemistry, and water-rock interaction in siliciclastic and carbonate rocks, and faults and fractures.
