Dr. Len Peters is an internationally renowned chemical engineer and a prolific author and lecturer. He served for the last five years at the Battelle Memorial Institute, a leading nonprofit applied science and technology development company, where he worked as senior vice president and director of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, managing a staff of 4,200 and coordinating research priorities. Dr. Peters has been recognized with honors such as the National Science Award Foundation and the Oak Ridge Associated Universities' Outstanding Leadership Award, and currently serves as the Energy and Environment Cabinet Secretary for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
