The Kentucky Geological Survey at the University of Kentucky is changing the hours that the public will have access to the KGS office at Henderson, Ky. Beginning March 1, 2013, the KGS Henderson office will be closed to the public on Fridays. Beginning June 3, 2013, the office will be closed to the public on Mondays and Fridays. The public will continue to have access to the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but the office will be closed during the lunch hour. This new schedule will be in effect until further notice. The KGS website will still provide access to maps, publications, oil and gas well records, and all KGS public databases 24 hour per day and seven days per week. These free online services will not be affected by the change in hours of operation in Henderson.
