He spent 21 years with the USGS working primarily in Kentucky and adjacent states. He will manage a section of five professionals conducting research on many aspects of water resources in Kentucky. The Water Resources Section has a state-wide mission which includes oversight of the Kentucky Groundwater Monitoring Network and management of the Kentucky Groundwater Data Repository. Mr. Taylor's official duties in his new capacity will begin January 14, 2013.
