All samples and cores, except for those that are confidential, are open for public inspection at the library during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. An examination room containing tables, microscopes, hot plates, acid, and a sink is available. Samples that are confidential remain so for 1 year.
