Monday night entertainment

 

Conference attendees can choose one of the following options for their Monday night entertainment. The event of your choice will be included in your conference registration fee. Events are limited to the first 25 to sign up but please add yourself to the waitlist if your preferred event is full. Any event could and may be extended to include more people if there is enough interest!


    Alltech Brewery and Distillery Tour

    Attendees will take a guided tour of the Alltech Town Branch Distillery and Kentucky Ale Brewery. The tour will last approximately an hour and comes with 4 tastings between the various offered beers and spirits. Attendees will also receive a souvenir glass and for those interested, you can get your first stamp in both your Brewgrass Trail and Bourbon Trail passports!

    Start time will be 6 p.m. Monday evening, giving people plenty of time for dinner afterwards at any of Lexington's many downtown eateries. Transportation will be provided although it is a quick and lovely 5 blocks to Alltech for any who wish to walk.

    Wine + Market Bourbon Cocktail Class

    Attendees will take a one hour class on crafting bourbon-based cocktails at Wine + Market just a few short blocks from the convention center. You will be able to sample bourbons and enjoy some nice palate-cleansing munchies as Seth Brewer, owner and proprietor, teaches about making the perfect bourbon cocktail.

    Start time will be 6 p.m. Monday evening, giving people plenty of time for dinner afterwards at any of Lexington's many downtown eateries. Transportation will be provided although it is a quick and lovely 3 blocks to Wine + Market for any who wish to walk.

    Enoteca Wine Tasting and Tapas

    Attendees will participate in a one hour wine tasting just a few short blocks from the convention center. Along with a variety of wines to sample, light tapas will be served to cleanse the pallet and enhance the wine. Owner and Sommelier Renee Brewer will be your host in her Spanish-inspired wine and tapas bar Enoteca.

    Start time will be 6 p.m. Monday evening, giving people plenty of time for dinner afterwards at any of Lexington's many downtown eateries. Transportation will be provided although it is a quick and lovely 3 blocks to Enoteca for any who wish to walk.

    A Taste of the Pepper District, After Dinner Beer and Ice Cream

    After dinner on your own, attendees will be transported to Lexington's Pepper Distillery District, one of the most popular new social areas in the Blue Grass. You'll receive tickets for two 10 oz. beers from Ethereal Brewing and tickets for two ice cream scoops from Crank and Boom Ice Cream. You will then have time to explore, eat, and drink more on your own time as transportation will be provided periodically through the evening so everyone can enjoy all the Pepper District has to offer.

    Start time will be 8:30 p.m. on Monday evening, giving people plenty of time for dinner beforehand. Transportation will provided from 8:30 to 11:30 for people to visit the Pepper District at their leisure.
