3.0 Magnitude Earthquake on March 1, 2006
A minor earthquake occurred January 2, 2006 at approximately 11:42 a.m. Central Standard Time near Buncombe , IL . Registering 3.0 on the Richter scale, the quake occurred 6.2 kilometers (3.9 miles) underground.
