Dr. Kraemer is a professor of Psychology. His research program concentrates on the psychobiology of information processing from both a comparative and developmental perspective. The primary focus of his research is on the integration of perception, learning, and memory as measured with behavioral assessment. This research is currently organized around five major issues: (1) the influence of stimulus variables on timing and short-term memory; (2) developmental changes in memory processing; (3) the nature of retrieval processes in simple learning situations; (4) spatial memory; and (5) brain-behavior relations associated with normal and abnormal memory function.
