Muhlenberg County, Kentucky

Muhlenberg county is located in western Kentucky. It was formed in 1799 and named for General John Peter Muhlenberg, who fought in the Revolution. The county seat is Greenville. The population of the county in 1990 was 31,318.

Muhlenberg county is the home of Lake Malone State Park.
