Pulaski County, Kentucky

Pulaski county is located in south central Kentucky in the Pennyrile region. It was formed in 1799 from parts of Green and Lincoln counties and named for Casimir Pulaski, who was killed in the Revolutionary War. The county seat is Somerset. The population of the county in 2000 was 56,217.
