There were once hundreds of covered bridges in Kentucky, but most have been replaced by modern structures or allowed to deteriorate. Those remaining:

• Beech Fork or Mooresville (Washington county, 1865)
• Bennetts Mill (Greenup county, ca. 1856)
• Cabin Creek or Rectorville or Mackey-Hughes (Lewis county, 1873)
• Colville (Bourbon county, 1877)
• Dover (Mason county, 1835)
• Goddard (Fleming county, date unknown)
• Hillsboro or Grange City (Fleming county, ca. 1865)
• Johnson Creek (Robertson county, 1874)
• Oldtown (Greenup county, ca. 1800)
• Ringos Mills (Fleming county, ca. 1869)
• Switzer (Franklin county, 1855)
• Valley Pike (Mason county, 1864, not on map)
• Walcott or White (Bracken county, ca. 1880)

Several covered bridges have been repaired or rebuilt in recent years by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
