Pine Grove is the remains of a Clark county village at the junction of KY 1923 and KY 1927 about six miles west of Winchester. Also known as Pine Grove Station, it is located where the railroad once crossed the highway. It was named for nearby Old Pine Grove and had a post office from about 1850, when the post office in nearby Chilesburg in Fayette county closed, until 1964.
