At the 1997 AALS Annual Meeting in Washington our Section sponsored a program entitled, The New Law of the Sea: What It Is and How to Teach It. We also co-sponsored a program entitled, The Ethical Implications of the Globalization of the Legal Profession: Challenge to the Teaching of Professional Responsibility and International Business Law, and a program entitled, The United Nations Draft Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
