Joint Program on UN Draft Declaration

The AALS Section on International Law joined the Section on Minority Groups and Native American Rights to sponsor a 1997 Annual Meeting program on The United Nations Draft Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. Professors Christine Zuni (New Mexico), Frank Pommersheim (South Dakota), Howard Berman (California Western), and Augusto Willemsen Diaz (of Guatamala, the principal drafter of the Draft Declaration) discussed the Draft and its implications.
