The Research Challenge Trust Fund Matching Program

The Governor and the Kentucky General Assembly have created the innovative Research Challenge Trust Fund (RCTF) as a vehicle to support post-secondary education in the Commonwealth. Under the RCTF program, the Commonwealth will match qualifying private gifts to the College for endowed chairs, professorships and student fellowships. This is a rare opportunity to leverage your gift and enhance its effectiveness.

The RCTF matches dollar-for-dollar minimum gifts of $50,000 for student fellowships, chairs and professorships. These gifts and payments on pledges may be made over a five year period. The College receives the RCTF match after approval by the Council on Post Secondary Education.
