Since joining the legal academy, Professor Moore has established himself as an accomplished scholar and well-regarded instructor. Professor Moore’s scholarship focuses on international law, with an emphasis on the domestic status of international law, and international human rights. His work can be found in the Harvard Law Review, Northwestern University Law Review, George Washington Law Review, and Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. Professor Moore teaches civil procedure, international law, and international human rights.

Prior to joining the College of Law faculty in 2003, Professor Moore spent two years at the University of Chicago Law School, where he researched and taught as an Olin Fellow. He clerked for the Honorable Samuel A. Alito, Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit from 2000 to 2001. From 1996 to 2000, he was an Honor Program trial attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division, Federal Programs Branch. Professor Moore is a summa cum laude graduate of Brigham Young University Law School, where he served as Editor in Chief of the Law Review.

In July 2007, Professor Moore will return to clerk for Justice Samuel A. Alito, Jr. on the U.S. Supreme Court for the October 2007 term.
