Law Library Services
Welcome to the Alvin E. Evans Law Library, part of the University of Kentucky libraries network. The Law Library contains over 460,000 volumes and volume equivalents and 3,795 serial subscriptions. The Law Library is located in the College of Law building, and entrance and exit is through the door located on the side of the building facing S. Limestone Street. All other doors are fire and emergency exits.
The Law Library is open to all faculty, staff and students of the University of Kentucky and to the public seeking to use our legal research collections.
Ours is primarily a research collection, and very few materials circulate outside the Library.
The Law Library's primary mission is to support the College of Law's academic programs as well as to provide the highest quality service, in a hospitable environment, to faculty, students, and alumni. As the Law Library's most valuable resource, the library team strives to exceed the expectations of its clients by providing creative and flexible solutions to their diverse and evolving information needs.
