For Visiting Students

If you are a student from another law school who wishes to attend the College of Law for a semester or summer session, you may apply for visiting student status. This requires both approval from your own Dean and from the College of Law.

As a candidate for visiting student status, you must submit:

*The application form and application fee;

*A personal statement including your reasons for the requested visiting status;

*Official law school transcripts; and

*A letter from the Dean of your law school certifying good academic standing, eligibility to continue in that school and permission for you to attend UK as a visiting student.

To be considered for visiting student status, you should apply at least six weeks before the beginning of the term in which you seek to enroll. Visiting students must submit new application forms for each successive semester.
