CKRE is another step closer to relocating to its new facility after receiving a $10,000 grant from the NiSource Charitable Foundation, presented to the organization by representatives of Columbia Gas of Kentucky, a NiSource company.
"For many months we have worked to raise the funds necessary for our move to our new facility within the Northside Branch Library," said Margaret Chase, Executive Director of Central Kentucky Radio Eye. "We are grateful to the NiSource Charitable Foundation for their belief in our organization and investment in our future."
"Lexington is very fortunate to have such a vital resource as Central Kentucky Radio Eye," said Herb Miller, president of Columbia Gas of Kentucky. "We hope that this grant will help CKRE upgrade its equipment, take advantage of new technology as it moves to its new home."
