This is the first English version of the Hittite
Kikkuli Text, the oldest known manual
on the training of horses. It is printed in Caslon
Oldstyle on Hosho paper. There are fourteen
folded sheets laid in cases of linen and/or
marbled papers over boards.
Designed by Carolyn Hammer. Illustrated by
Carolyn Whitesel, after Hittite bas reliefs.
