Libraries, Bookbinding, Preservation: Two Lectures and a Workshop - 18-19 November 1994
Dr. Nicholas Pickwoad, Chief Conservator, Harvard University Libraries, will give lectures on "The Library at Kingston Lacey in Dorset" and "How Bookbinders Coped with the Printing Press Before 1800." Dr. Pickwoad and Gabrielle Fox, a professional binder, will give workshops on binding. Advance reservations are required for some activities.
