THE KING LIBRARY PRESS SPRING SEMINAR IN GRAPHIC DESIGN
APRIL 17 & 18 The King Library Press's Spring Seminar in Graphic Design hosts one of the Bluegrass region's celebrated artists and designers, Robert James Foose. Gifted watercolorist, imaginative painter in oils, skilled printmaker, talented book designer, and expert letterpress printer at his Buttonwood Press, Robert James Foose brings a career of broad-based achievement and recognition in the arts to our spring program. In our workshop session you may join the guest artist in planning and producing a small publication that relies for its effect on successful printing from relief blocks. Here you will use original illustrations drawn and cut by Robert James Foose. From traditional book design to artist's books, Robert James Foose will share with you his own unique approach to the graphic arts. Friday: 17 April 1998
Saturday: 18 April 1998
