A GNOMON BOOK ARTS WORKSHOP

9:00 a.m., A Gnomon Book Arts Workshop Begins
At The King Library Press, produce a portfolio of previously unpublished
poems by six Gnomon Press authors — Wendell Berry, Jonathan
Greene, Michael McFee, Robert Morgan, James Still, and Jonathan
Williams. Each poem will be printed in broadside, and each will be
illustrated with a color image by Frankfort photographer Dobree Adams.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS BOOK ARTS EVENT
1. Friday evening's presentation by Jonathan Greene is free
and open to all.
2. Saturday's workshop requires registration and a fee
of $35.00 (includes lunch). Participation is limited.

JONATHAN GREENE
— poet and publisher — now marks the fortieth year of his
Gnomon imprint. Both his own personal productivity as well as his
empowerment of other significant writers, and of important
photographers, through beautifully designed and consequential
publications, makes this a proper moment to celebrate his unique
position in the field of letters and the book arts.
Publisher of such figures as Wendell Berry, Linda Butler, Wendy Ewald,
Harlan Hubbard, Ed McClanahan, Michael McFee, Guy Mendes, Jim Wayne
Miller, Ralph Eugene Meatyard, Robert Morgan, Gurney Norman, Martha
Bennett Stiles, James Still, Richard Taylor, Jonathan Williams, and
numerous others, Jonathan Greene has won the regard of all who
appreciate contemporary literature and recognize his discerning taste in
its graphic presentation.
