Tom Rosko
University Archivist and Director, University Archives & Records Program, University of Kentucky


Tom Rosko is currently University Archivist and Director, UK Records Program at the University of Kentucky. In May he will be leaving the university to begin work as Head of Archives and Special Collections at M.I.T. Rosko is a graduate of Bucknell University and Rutgers University's School of Communication, Information and Library Service. Before coming to Kentucky, he held archival positions at Princeton University, the American Civil Liberties Union, and New York University.

Rosko is active in national and regional professional archival associations and serves on the Society of American Archivists College and University Archives Section Steering Committee. At UK he serves on the University’s Electronic Theses and Dissertations Committee and University Historical Marker Committee as well as various University Libraries’ committees. He is a member of Kentucky’s Archives and Records Management Advisory Committee to the State Archives and Records Commission and the Advisory Committee on University Records.
