Celebrity Reader Week

CKRE held it third annual "Celebrity Reader Week" September 14-20, 2009. Eighteen local celebrities from the arts, media, and government, including Mayor Jim Newberry and Sue Wylie, joined volunteers in CKRE's broadcasting studio for live readings from the Lexington Herald-Leader and other programming.

CKRE thanks Common Grounds for their support for Celebrity Reader Week with coffee and muffins throughout the event and photographer Terry Fugate for the wonderful photographs of celebrities and volunteers at CKRE's studios.
