HOW TO TREAT FINE BLOCKS

POLICY

Even though Voyager combines the total of all fines owed to:

• Lexington Campus Libraries (items with barcodes beginning with 30425...)
• Medical Center Library (items with barcodes beginning with 31445...)
• Bluegrass Community and Technical College Learning Resource Center (items with barcodes beginning with 33131...)

which can result in a patron being blocked at ALL of these libraries, override the fine block if the portion of the fine is less than $20.00 for the library the patron is in.

PROCEDURE

• If the portion of the fine is less than $20.00 for the library the patron is in, override the fine block. Give the patron a printout of fines and / or tell patron he / she must pay at:
  Young Library for Lexington Campus fines
  Medical Center Library for Medical Center fines
  Bluegrass Community and Technical College Learning Resource Center for BCTC fines
