Research guide for U.S. Government Resources
Introduction
The resources in this guide are published by the U.S. Government Printing Office, list resources published by the government, or provide governmental information. The electronic resources listed here are general guides to government resources. Several other general resources are also available that contain information published by the United States Government. A complete list of electronic resources, some of which include subject-specific U.S. Government documents, is also available.
Please note: Subject-specific government resources are listed in the research guide for that particular subject. To see all of the government publications included in the complete list of electronic resources, search the term govpub on the Find Electronic Resources page.
As a regional depository of federal government resources, the University of Kentucky Library system has a huge number of those resources, in both electronic and paper format. To search for them, use InfoKat's Guided Keyword Search. In the first box, enter the following terms: gpo mvi dgpo and change the drop box to the right of the first box to any of these; then use the other two boxes to put in your search terms.
