About Little Library

Introduction

The Lucille Caudill Little Fine Arts Library and Learning Center opened Oct. 2, 2000, combining the collections and services of the former Edward Rannells Art Library and the Adelle G. Dailey Music Library and Media Center. It is also the home of the John Jacob Niles Center for American Music, a collaboration between the University Libraries and the College of Fine Arts, School of Music.

The Little Library houses over 122,000 volumes and over 25,000 audiovisual materials covering music, art, and theatre. The Library subscribes to approximately 500 periodicals.

Eight group study rooms are available for use on a first come basis or by advance reservation. Links to reservation request forms for study rooms and the Niles Gallery are on the left of this text.
