Disabilities Services
Policy
The University of Kentucky Medical Center Library (MCL) supports the intent of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and seeks to serve individuals with disabilities at the same level of service as able-bodied individuals. For individuals with disabilities, the MCL will make reasonable accommodations to enable the customer to conduct health-related research, complete assignments, and use library resources. All members of the MCL staff will, upon request, serve individuals with disabilities to the best of their ability in compliance with existing library policies and procedures. These policies and procedures are available for review by the public. Cooperation and coordination with William T. Young Library (WTYL) Disability Services, the UK Disability Resource Center, and the UK Engaging Differences Project benefits customers with disabilities.
