Meeting Room Descriptions

Auditorium (Room 1-62)
Seats 150 -- Maximum Capacity 150*
Room Configuration: Theater style, one aisle on either side
DRINKS IN COVERED CONTAINERS PERMITTED

Keeneland Room (Room 1-63)
Seats 16 -- Maximum Capacity 16*
Room Configuration: Meeting style (four tables in a rectangle with chairs around, additional table available for food/drink setup)
FOOD AND DRINK PERMITTED

Gallery (Room 1-65)
Seats 24 to 50 depending on room configuration -- Maximum Capacity 50*
Choices of room configuration are limited to:

  • Meeting Style (six tables in a rectangle with chairs around; seats 24)
  • Open Meeting Style (five or seven tables placed in a U formation with chairs around; five tables seat 20; seven tables seat 28)
  • Reception (four tables together in middle of room with chairs on room periphery; seats 50)
  • Theater (two rows of chairs placed in rows with an open aisle down the middle; seats 50)
Furniture not to be moved out of room for events.
FOOD AND DRINK PERMITTED

Spears Room (Room 1-73)
Seats 8-10 -- Maximum Capacity 10*
Room Configuration: Meeting Style (one oval table with chairs around)
DRINKS IN COVERED CONTAINERS ARE PERMITTED

Kentucky American Water Company Room (Room 1-77)
Seats 16 -- Maximum Capacity 16*
Room Configuration: Meeting Style (four tables in a rectangle with chairs around)
DRINKS IN COVERED CONTAINERS ARE PERMITTED

Meeting room configurations are limited to those listed above. Furniture, including chairs, may not be removed from the meeting rooms. If furniture is moved within the room during the course of an event, it must be moved back into its original configuration by the event organizers at the end of the event.

In the event that severe weather causes a delayed opening or the cancellation of classes and closure of offices, room reservations during that period will be canceled.

*It is against Fire Marshal regulations to have more people in a room than maximum capacity allows.
