About Us
The Agricultural Information Center (AIC) supports the faculty, staff, and students of the College of Agriculture, the School of Human Environmental Sciences, the Biology Department, and anyone in need of agricultural information in accordance with our Land Grant Mission. The AIC is responsible for the collection development of the electronic resources as well as the print materials for those disciplines, which are housed in the William T. Young Library. Materials in electronic format are maintained by the AIC staff and available at the Center or via the Internet. Through these materials, which include major abstracts and indexing services as well as major research journals, the AIC actively supports faculty and graduate research. The AIC also provides current print issues of 187 major research journals in agriculture and a print reference collection on-site. Both extensive subject-specific workshops in electronic access and individual consultations for research needs are available from the Center staff. We invite you to come visit us. See our hours.
