General Information
The UK Libraries make available to the general public as many of its programs and services as possible. Many of the products and services on this page have unrestricted access, meaning you can use them without any sort of registration process or cost. When looking for electronic resources through the Electronic Resources link, be sure to click the "Full Description" link to see if a resource is free or restricted. Look at the "Access information" entry for details.
Resources labeled "Resource is available on-campus or off-campus via EZProxy" are restricted; only current UK faculty, staff and students may access these resources from off-campus. However, these resources and others can be accessed by the general public if you come in to one of our 13 campus libraries.
As a Federal Government Regional Depository, the UK Libraries make available a large number of federal resources, both in paper and electronically, for use by the citizens of Kentucky; see Federal Government Information for details.
