Saving Student Brian
In Fall 2007, the UK Libraries introduced "Saving Student Brian," a short video which introduces students to the UK Libraries. Filmed partially in Second Life, the video chronicles Brian's experience with using the UK Libraries and includes footage of several campus libraries. UK101 students view "Saving Student Brian" as part of their library orientation experience.

In January 2008, the video was selected as one of ALA/ACRL Peer Reviewed Instructional Materials Online and was featured as the April 2008 "Site of the Month." At the 2008 LOEX Conference, the creators of the video presented about the production of "Saving Student Brian."
