D. Institutional Support
Goal One:To provide the human resources required to support depository library operations.
DESIRED OUTCOMES:
1. Depository patrons and staff, as well as institutional personnel, will know the primary Federal Depository Library Program contact and program coordinator. Suggested Assessment Measures
2. Patrons will be satisfied with the depository's complement of personnel. Suggested Assessment Measures
Goal Two: To provide supplementary bibliographic resources and finding aids for enhanced patron access to and use of federal government depository information.
DESIRED OUTCOMES:
1. Depository patrons will use selected supplementary resources and aids in their document searches. Suggested Assessment Measures
2. Patrons will rely on both depository and supplementary resources in their government information searches. Suggested Assessment Measures
3. Patrons will gain knowledge of government information sources from a trained depository staff. Suggested Assessment Measures
Goal Three: To provide physical facilities for housing depository collections and services.
DESIRED OUTCOMES:
1. Patrons will know the location of the depository's collections and services. Suggested Assessment Measures
2. Patrons will be satisfied with the facility's environment. Suggested Assessment Measures
Goal Four: To provide financial support for equipment, technology, and materials processing.
DESIRED OUTCOMES:
1. Depository patrons can access new depository material close to the time of receipt. Suggested Assessment Measures
2. Patrons will be able to use functioning microform readers, printers, photocopiers, and computer workstations. Suggested Assessment Measures
