Aspira Mentors
The cultural center assists in the connection between Latinos student and professionals who wish to mentor Latino students at the University of Kentucky. The center works closely with The Center for Academic Resources and Enrichment Services to insure that both the mentor and the student have a great experience.
In addition the center has introduced a less formal mentoring process called
E-mentoring, an innovative form of mentoring that allows a volunteer to interact with their student via e-mail circumventing barriers of time and space due to business and travel schedules.
