Catherine Brereton comes from Glossop, a small town in northern England, and is double-majoring in English and Gender/Women's Studies. She juggles a busy class schedule and her work as a writing tutor in UK's Writing Center with the demands of family life (she has two daughters), and when she manages to secure some free time, she picks up her knitting needles and knits. Catherine is passionate about LGBT issues and identity and hopes to incorporate this into her future plans to pursue an MA and PhD in British Literature. |

Jonathan Finnie is a Lexington native double majoring in German and Geography. His study of geography allows him to consider methods of making urban spaces more human, while his study of German affords him time to indulge in the pleasures of Krautrock and Dadaist sound poetry. |

Jared Flanery is from Louisville, Kentucky. He is studying Political Science, History, and Spanish, along with a minor in Cognitive Science. He is interested in international relations (IR) theory, especially in relation to Latin America and China/Southeast Asia, as well as environmental and social justice movements. |

Luke Glaser is an English and Hispanic Studies major hailing from Louisville, Kentucky. He is an editor for the student newspaper, The Kentucky Kernel, and coordinator for the UK College of Arts & Sciences Ambassador Program. In his spare time, Luke enjoys reading, scuba diving, and any other sport related to water. He intends to pursue a degree in law and dabble in politics. |

Mary Jennings is a Biology and Spanish double major from Nicholasville, Kentucky. She is interested in pursuing a career in medicine, especially in the neurological sciences. In her free time she enjoys running, reading, and eating as much ethnic food as possible. |

Kelly King, hailing from Northern Kentucky, is pursuing a major in English and Philosophy. She plans to continue her study of English Literature in graduate school. She also enjoys playing the piano, pondering her own existence, and perusing the dictionary. |

Damarias Moore is a French and Islamic Studies double major from Glasgow, Kentucky. After graduating, she intends to pursue a graduate degree in Arabic in order to become a translator or interpreter. Her ultimate career goal is to open a Mexican restaurant in Paris, France. |

Doug Niemann is from Louisville, Kentucky; he is an Architecture major. Doug thoroughly enjoys cooking, sketching, photography, and the great outdoors. After completing his undergraduate studies, Doug plans on continuing his education in a graduate level design program. |

Liz Schaller is an Art History and History major from LaGrange, Kentucky. She plans to pursue a graduate degree in either History or Library Science. |

Will Spence, from Louisville, Kentucky, is studying finance and business management. He splits his time between the Investors Club and Alpha Phi Omega, the on-campus service fraternity. He is planning on studying abroad during the summer, as he enjoys traveling, particularly to the Southern Hemisphere. |

Dorneshia Thomas is a Psychology major and Judaic Studies minor from Lithonia, Georgia. After graduating she plans to pursue a graduate degree in Psychology. She is striving to become a Clinical Psychologist. Some of her research interests include investigating the validity of college entrance exams and the psychology of religion (spirituality and theology). Dorneshia would like to thank her parents for allowing her the opportunity to attend the University of Kentucky. She would also like to thank all of her family, friends, and teachers for their continued support. |

Jessica Anderson is an International Studies major from Monclova, Ohio. Her focus is on human rights and social movements in Africa and the Middle East. She is interested in the study of world languages, and in her spare time she dreams of traveling, living, and studying outside of the U.S. |

Zachary Davis is from Lexington, Kentucky and is majoring in Sustainable Agriculture. He is also keenly interested in religious issues, pursuing a theological education at a distance through The University of the South. His area of focus is in attempting to understand how spirituality can influence stewardship of the land and vice versa. |

Shady El-Maraghi is a pre-Med Biology and French double major. Contrary to popular belief, he does not want to become a French doctor, but would rather practice in underprivileged communities around the world. In his spare time, he enjoys not being in the country. |

Martha Groppo is a Journalism and History double major who works as Features Editor for the Kentucky Kernel. Currently she is writing on her historical Honors thesis. Martha grew up in Wilmore, Kentucky, where she coaches the community youth summer swim team. When she is not dancing--she is a classically trained ballerina and a past member of UK's Dance Ensemble--she enjoys running, swimming, and outdoor activities. Martha loves to travel hopes to one day write for a travel publication while pursuing her Doctorate in History. |

Claire Heitzman is a Classics major and English minor from Louisville, Kentucky. After graduating, she plans on receiving her MA in Teaching World Languages from the University of Kentucky and teaching Latin at the high school level. |

Lauren Ison is from Greenup, Kentucky. She is majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Math. She is involved in Reformed University Fellowship at UK and enjoys running, climbing, and weightlifting. She is pursuing a career in dentistry. |

Ashleigh Lovelace is from Russell, Kentucky. She is double majoring in English and Arts Administration, with an emphasis in Studio Art, and plans to pursue a graduate degree in journalism. |

Hannah Osborne is from Scottsville, Kentucky. She is a History and Political Science double major, focusing on American history and politics. After graduation she plans to either pursue a masters in diplomacy or attend graduate school to earn a PhD in History. |

Lena Reich is an International Studies (Latin America and Cultural Studies) and Spanish major with a minor in Psychology. She currently speaks English, Spanish and Japanese is pondering either Chinese or Hindi as her next of many languages to learn. Teaching cross-culturally is her aspiration and making a difference is her ambition! She is obsessed with Costa Rica after coming back from a year abroad in the country and will be glad to talk to anybody about it if you ask her. |

Katherine VanHoose is an Architecture major from Paducah, Kentucky. She plans to attend graduate school at the University of Kentucky and hopes to open her own architecture firm in the future. She enjoys traveling, photography, and all things Russian. |

Ainsley Wagoner is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. She's currently pursuing an Architecture major with a minor in vocal performance. She is the General Manager of the campus radio station, WRFL 88.1 FM and the organist at Woodland Christian Church. She's a participant in the local music scene and enjoys travelling, making weird music, writing, learning German and watching teen dramas. |
