About the Center Gaines Fellowship Campus Programs Public Programs The Gaines Center thanks the National Endowment for the Humanities for its support. The following are supported by an NEH Challenge Grant: The John R. Gaines Chair in the Humanities, The Bale Boone Symposium in the Humanities, and the Lafayette Seminar in Public Issues.
