The Kentucky Canadian Studies Consortium was created by Eastern Kentucky University, Georgetown College, the University of Kentucky, Morehead State University, and Western Kentucky University to provide their students with the opportunity to take Canadian Studies Online Program courses.

The Canadian Studies Online Program (CSOP) was created in 2001 to promote our understanding our North American neighbor: who they are, what we share in common, and what makes us different in our increasingly interconnected and interdependent world.

Canadian Studies in the Classroom
Kentucky Social Studies, Language Arts, and French teachers interested in including Units of Study in their elementary, middle, and high school courses are encouraged to explore the print and Internet resources and lesson plans on Canadian history, geography, culture, government, and politics offered at this link.
Canadian Parliamentary Internship Program
The Canadian Parliamentary Internship Program is a five week summer program in Ottawa which places students with Members of Parliament.
Kentucky Canadian Studies Roundtable
Since 1996, the Kentucky Canadian Studies Roundtable’s annual meetings have explored a wide range of current topics of interest to Canadian studies faculty and students. The 2005 meeting to be held at the University of Kentucky and its theme will be "Celebrating the Canadian Studies Community."
The Hon. John Maloney, a member of the Liberal Party and Canadian Parliament’s Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights, will be our special guest. Mr. Maloney’s keynote speech will address the "The Canadian Approach to Gay Rights, Child Pornography, and Solicitation Laws."
