 At present there is no
state natural history museum in Kentucky. Much of our natural heritage is
leaving the state and being placed in museums or collections around the world.
We need a place in Kentucky to preserve and show some of the state's great
natural history. The Kentucky Museum of Natural History, Inc. is a project
to develop a natural history museum for the state of Kentucky. The Kentucky
Museum of Natural History was incorporated in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
in 1991. The Museum is a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation under Section
501 (c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code and is a publicly supported organization.
Donations are tax-deductible. Donations to the Museum or requests for information
