Project Summary

The grant money has been used for purchasing, delivery of and training on the Stream Table and for materials and transportation of students presenting around the community.

Two Boyle County High School biology classes were trained in the philosophy, purpose and techniques used when demonstrating stream formation using the Stream Table.

Agencies and Groups Involved

The high school students used the Stream Table to demonstrate stream formation to the following groups:

Mrs. Ponsoll and Mrs. Lynch fourth grade science classes (August 2005)

Visitors to the Constitution Square Festival (part of the CREEC booth) (Sept. 2005) Boyle County Homemakers (October 2005)

Students with Water Watch (May 2006)

Stream Table presentations are on-going with plans to increase the number of presentations given in the 2006-2007 school year.
