Spring 2007 Sampling Results Summary (PDF)

These reports summarize water quality data collected during the major KRWW sampling events throughout the spring, summer and fall. Individual sampling events are typically conducted to test for herbicides and pesticides; pathogens; chemicals and nutrients; and metals. If high readings are found during the pathogen testing event, sites are normally sampled a second time during the summer. In addition, certain streams or watersheds may be selected for focused pathogen sampling in order to better determine the causes and sources of high results. Volunteers are also requested to sample for pH, dissolved oxygen and temperature during each of the scheduled sampling events, as well as provide any relevant visual observations about the particular sampling site.
