The minutes of the 7/6 meeting were approved.
KVUG MEETING PLANS: The registration form is being finalized and should be up by 9/1/00. Several adjustments were discussed, a final review will be sent via email for approval. Other issues included what to do with registration money that is received (Weiling will collect and hold at UofL until an account is set up by the new Treasurer). Prepayment (check/money order) will be stressed, trying to avoid the collection of money at the meeting. A new SIG (Acquisitions/Serials) will be added for those not interested in attending the roadshow. Jane Burke will speak at the business meeting. Registration deadline will be Oct. 6. Roberta will send an email to the appropriate listservs regarding the meeting announcement. KVUG HOMEPAGE: Thanks to Kelly for his work on the homepage! The homepage is in test and will soon be made permanently available. The Kentucky logo background will change to "leaves" as discussed earlier. Kelly will be added to the KVUG listserv.
KVUG OFFICERS: Discussion ensued regarding names for the three KVUG offices (Treasurer, Chair, Chair-elect). Names will continue to be collected through mid-September when a slate will be finalized. THE NEXT MEETING OF THE GROUP WILL BE 11:00 SEPTEMBER 14. Respectfully submitted, |
