Lexington is located in the center of the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky. The city is an interesting combination of urban sophistication and rural charm. A variety of activities are available to keep visitors busy. Visiting historical sites, arts and crafts festivals and sporting events are a few examples of fun activities for you to do while in Lexington or the surrounding area.

Lexington is famous for its horses and outstanding horse farms. Thoroughbred racing is a popular activity every April and October. A visit to the Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland Race Track or Calumet Farms is a must during any trip to the area.
