WHO WE ARE

In 1991, the Women’s Forum was created to address issues concerning Women employees at UK in response to the 1990 Ad Hoc Report on the Status of Women at UK. Any UK employee is encouraged become a general member of the Women's Forum. Designed to provide leadership and direction for the Forum, the Women's Forum Board consists of a total of 20 individuals: 18 elected Board members, the past chair and the current chair. The Women’s Forum Board puts out a call for nominations every year to elect new board members . Any UK full-time regular employee, faculty or staff, may be nominated to the UK Women’s Forum Board. The elected nominees in a campus-wide election will then serve a two-year term on the Board.

If you would like to nominate yourself or a fellow UK employee to the UK Women’s Forum Board, please watch this website for more information. All full-time regular faculty and staff are eligible to serve. Elections typically take place in May of each year.
