Goals

  • Enhance student learning of key Number Properties and Operations (NPO) concepts related to success in Algebra
  • Enhance teachers’ conceptual understanding and pedagogical content knowledge of NPO concepts related to Algebra
  • Enhance participating teachers’ ability to implement research-based strategies critical for effective mathematics instruction
  • Enhance administrators’ ability to provide effective support for teachers implementing research-based strategies into their mathematics instruction
