Diane was a classroom teacher for 25 years in high school science. She is currently the instructional supervisor for Lewis County schools K-12 in all content areas. She has been a teacher partner (ARSI) and a Regional Teacher Partner (PIMSER) for 12 years. Diane specializes in K-12 science and science education, content literacy strategies, inquiry instruction, science curriculum, assessment, concept development, integration of math and science, analysis of student work and mentoring.

Terry taught in Rockcastle County for 29 years. During the last five years teaching, she worked with the Appalachian Rural Systemic Initiative (ARSI) as a teacher partner, then as a Regional Teacher Partner with PIMSER. As a teacher partner, she taught teachers at Rockcastle County Middle School. As a Regional Teacher Partner the last three years, she provided ongoing, imbedded professional development for math and special needs teachers at Rockcastle County Middle School and Huntsville Middle School in Huntsville, Tennessee. She has worked intensively with schools in curriculum, instructional practices, assessment, and technology. Terry has assisted teachers in the implementation of Connected Math, a NSF funded middle school math program, and Math Trailblazers, a NSF funded elementary school program.
